ABOUT ERA FOR CHANGE:

Edmund Rice Advocacy (ERA) for Change, is a youth advocacy network that stands for equality, human rights, and justice and solidarity with all people, and with the earth itself.  Drawing upon the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, the Charter for Edmund Rice Education Australia, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the Convention of the Rights of the Child, we aim to work alongside Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders (EREBB), Edmund Rice International, The Edmund Rice Centre, and other Edmund Rice networks around the world in advocating for a more just and peaceful world. ABOUT THE ROLE:

This Internship program offers an innovative work experience focused on offering ‘hands on’ training through real world experience. The ERA for Change Internship has been created by Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) to support the ERA for Change Network through the provision of administrative and communication services. This exciting opportunity exists in a supportive environment where the successful candidate will learn about developing and supporting a network for change. The role can be based either at the EREA National Office in Melbourne (Richmond) or the EREA Northern Office in Brisbane (Boondall).

This part time (0.2 FTE / one day per week) paid internship will run until mid-December 2022, with the potential to continue for another 12 months.

The role is well suited to a Tertiary student.
