In furthering our commitment to the care and protection of children and young people, EREA insists that all employees throughout our network of schools and entities take personal responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of the children and young people under their care. Their obligations are clearly articulated in EREA’s Code of Conduct with special reference to the Child Safe Code of Conduct. Breaches of the Code of Conduct are treated with the utmost seriousness, following robust procedures and protocols.
The Code of Conduct (the Code) details, clarifies and affirms the standards of behaviour expected by Edmund Rice Education Australia for members of the Edmund Rice Education Australia community.
The Code is a resource to assist persons within the Edmund Rice Education Australia community to ensure that their behavior and conduct are in accordance with Edmund Rice Education Australia’s standards and expectations, does not affect or otherwise harm students, and aligns with Edmund Rice Education Australia’s duty of care.
It is of absolute importance that members of the Edmund Rice Education Australia community read, reflect upon, understand and respond accordingly to their responsibilities as set out in the Code.
Enquiries on the Code should be directed at first instance to the Principal, the Deputy Principal or the National Executive Director of Edmund Rice Education Australia.
