St Joseph’s Gregory Terrace, a Year 5-12 boys' day school, has a rich tradition of academic and co-curricular excellence – developed over 138 years. The College’s vision is to provide a holistic Catholic education to form leaders of courage who make a difference. This is achieved by a close partnership between parents, staff and students.
As a Catholic College in the Edmund Rice tradition, Terrace aspires to be faithful to the Charter’s four touchstones of: Liberating Education, Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community and Justice and Solidarity. The Terrace Gentleman is a young man of faith and learning who will make a difference to community through his knowledge, humility and wisdom.
The College was established by the Christian Brothers in 1875. There are four campuses – the main campus at Gregory Terrace, Waterford Place (Year 10s), 10ha of sporting facilities at Tennyson and the Outdoor Education Centre at Lake Maroon.
