Established in 1878, CBC St Kilda is a Catholic boys’ school in the Edmund Rice Tradition in inner-city Melbourne with approximately 500 students.

The College has a long and rich heritage of scholarship and community spirit. We offer students high standard facilities and contemporary approaches to learning, without losing sight of our traditional values. We value diversity highly and have a philosophy of keeping abreast of key research in adolescence and boys’ education.

We apply innovative approaches to learning and community life, so our students can keep pace with an ever changing world. While we value and celebrate strong academic results our aim as a school is to provide learning opportunities that foster balanced development of the whole person and a deep sense of moral and spiritual values. Our programs are sufficiently flexible to assist every boy to begin that important journey about himself and life’s discovery.

CBC St Kilda recognises the traditional owners of the area, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.
