Ambrose Treacy College is proudly a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition. The College is set on 13 hectares of landscaped grounds on the banks of the Brisbane River at Indooroopilly. This year, the College’s second year, sees a population of 580 boys from Years 4 to 9. Over the next three years the College will grow year on year until the first Year 12 cohort graduates in 2019.
The College has a proud history and tradition operating up until 2014 as Nudgee Junior College. For 76 years the College has been a leading provider of primary boys’ education in the western corridor of Brisbane. Ambrose Treacy College seeks to build on the wonderful legacy of Nudgee Junior College and strives to live out the charism of Edmund Rice in our contemporary context through the lenses of learning, leadership and service.
